How the security arm is staffed
ANSIC Security is one of two licensed arms — Investigations is the other. Headquarters are in Bowen Hills. We hold security licences in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
We deploy our own trained personnel. They hold the security licence the job requires in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria — including the crowd-controller function where the brief needs it — plus RSA where alcohol is served, and advanced first aid and CPR. They are inducted into ANSIC service standards before they stand a post. We do not farm a contract unless you ask us to.
The work is events and outdoor programs, crowd control in licensed hotels and clubs, corporate and construction posts, mobile patrols, and close personal protection. CCTV and alarms are available where a site still needs cameras — they sit behind the officer, not instead of one.
We are ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certified, ASIAL members, Australian Veteran Owned, Local Buy, cm3 and Business Chamber Queensland. The management team comes from the Australian Army and the Queensland Police Service.
How we track and report
ANSIC uses two operational systems on security work so the roster, the licence and the occurrence log can be checked. We did not build the software.
Guardhouse is the workforce system we use. Officers clock in and out on a GPS time clock with a geofence, so the stamp is at the site. On patrols they scan QR or NFC checkpoints. Clock-ins, scans and incidents write to an occurrence log. Incident reports can carry time-stamped photos. Daily automated licence checks run across Australian states, including Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. Clients who need it can use the optional Guardhouse customer portal for schedules, licence status and occurrence logs.
Security Registers is the digital venue sign-on we use for licensed hotels, clubs and crowd-controller doors. Officers sign on and off by mobile QR. It references the Queensland government / Office of Fair Trading so only correctly licensed guards can sign on — including the crowd-controller component and expired licences. Incident reports, CCTV upload and instant alerts sit on that venue record.
These tools sit behind the officer. They do not replace a licensed person on the gate, the fence or the movement.
