A licensed officer who stays with the principal — threat assessment, the movement, the venue, and the debrief after.

ANSIC provides licensed close personal protection for dignitaries, public figures and business leaders. We started in this work. The officer travels with the principal on executive movements, public appearances and private venues. The job is to identify and address a risk before it becomes a threat — not to stand a building desk.

A typical brief is a threat assessment for the person, the itinerary and the site; a plan for route, venue, timings and contingencies; a licensed officer on the movement; and a debrief afterwards.

If the job is a reception desk, a construction gate or a marked patrol car, that is corporate protection and patrols.

Who provides this service?

Licensed close-protection officers we employ, with threat-assessment, planning and movement experience. They hold the security licence the job requires in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria — including the crowd-controller function where the brief needs it — plus RSA where alcohol is served, and advanced first aid and CPR. They are inducted into ANSIC service standards. We do not use unrequested contractors.

Why it is needed

Close protection is needed when a physical presence must stay with a person — executives, public figures and people under a specific threat — so risks are identified before they become a problem on the movement.

How we track and report

Close-protection officers are rostered and licence-checked in Guardhouse. Daily automated checks cover Australian states including Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. A GPS / geofence clock-in records that the officer started the movement; Guardhouse holds the roster and the licence, not the principal’s itinerary.
