First Aid Courses

CPR Training gives participants the basic skills and knowledge if they were required to maintain a person’s life in an emergency situation until help arrived.

Participants will receive hands-on practical training by experience qualified trainers.

We teach to the Australian Resuscitation Council Guidelines, so you can feel confident knowing you skills meet national standards. This course is suitable for all persons whether you are looking at learning or refresh your training.

Provide First Aid Training is the minimum requirement under the Workplace Health and Safety Legislation for a workplace first aider.

However, all persons are encouraged to complete a Provide First Aid course, regardless of their work requirements as it could help you save a life! Provide First Aid gives you the basic skills and knowledge to assist in any emergency situation until further help arrives. You will be trained by qualified trainers and partake in practical training to learn what to do for different emergencies.

This course gives participants skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults. It is most suited to educators and support staff working within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and Anaphylactic emergencies. This course would also benefit sporting organisations or local community groups who do work with young children. Participants will receive practical hands-on training with a qualified trainer, to enable them to provide emergency assistance to young children until further help arrives.

Our Provide Advanced Resuscitation course gives participants the skills and knowledge required to provide advanced resuscitation in an emergency situation.

Participants will learn how to utilise specialised first aid equipment; stabilise a casualty where medical aid has been delayed; maintain life in an unconscious casualty with the use of oxygen equipment; and operate a defibrillator unit in order to maintain life in an adult casualty in cardiac arrest.

Provide Advanced First Aid gives participants the skills and knowledge required to provide an advanced first aid response, including management of the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

The unit applies to workers who may be required to provide, coordinate and manage a first aid response across a range of complex situations, including community and workplace settings.

Participants will learn how to utilise specialised first aid equipment; stabilise a casualty where medical aid has been delayed; maintain life in an unconscious casualty with the use of oxygen equipment; and operate a defibrillator unit in order to maintain life in an adult casualty in cardiac arrest.

Low Voltage Rescue covers the performance of rescue procedures from live Low Voltage apparatus, not including overhead lines and underground cables in the workplace.

It specifies the mandatory requirements of rescue from a live LV panel and how they apply in the context of transmission, distribution or rail work functions. It encompasses responsibilities for, health, safety and risk management processes at all operative levels and adherence to safety practices as part of the normal way of doing work.
